Expert Analysis: Sarah Palin’s Writing Scores Higher Than That Of Most Educated AmericansBy Gary P JacksonOne of the biggest media failures in quite some time has been the spectacle of going through Sarah Palin’s e-mails from her time as Governor of Alaska.

The media was so overjoyed at what they perceived as an opportunity to find all kinds of juicy stories about corruption, incompetence, and so on, they dropped all pretense of being actual journalists, and begged readers to help them sort through the 24,000 some odd e-mails and reporting on “the dirt.”

I haven’t seen something blow up in someone’s face this bad since Diane Oughton was making bombs for Obama’s best buddy Bill Ayers!Instead of finding the incompetent boob our corrupt media had been telling their readers about for years, those going through Governor Palin’s e-mails found a solid CEO who worked long hours doing the people’s business.

They found a Governor who was incredibly intelligent, and unlike our current president, almost fanatical about making sure there was transparency in her government. The democrats, their corrupt media partners, and the GOP elites have assured us that Sarah Palin is stupid to the point of barely being able to tie her own shoe. They’ve also told us for years that her well written newspaper op-eds, and Facebook notes MUST have been written by someone else. So too her two NY Times best selling books .Well, thanks to the media’s zeal, yet another lie about Sarah Palin has been shot down.

From the NY Daily News:It turns out Palin’s writing skills are still better than most educated Americans. Global Language Monitor gave Palin’s emails a score of 8.2, which actually exceeds that of most chief execs. “She’s very concise. She gives clear orders. Her sentences and punctuations are logical,” said Paul Payack of GLS. “She has much more of a disciplined mind than she’s given credit for.”John Katzman, CEO of another company, 2tor, gave Palin a score of 8.5. He said the potential presidential candidate’s emails scored higher than his own, when based on the widely-used Flesch-Kincaid readability test. But what do the scores actually mean? Payack offered Abraham Lincoln’s “Gettyburg Address” and the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech as points of comparison. They earned scores of 9.1 and 8.8, respectively. Hmm, being compared to fellow Republicans Abraham Lincoln and Dr Martin Luther King. That’s pretty heady stuff. You may have noticed the media’s interest in Governor Palin’s e-mails died almost as quickly as it was born.

Now you know why. It’s hard to sell someone as corrupt, inept, and stupid when every piece of evidence shows that not to be true..One thing about it, when she takes office in 2013, President Sarah Palin will be the most vetted President in our nation’s history. The exact opposite of Barack Obama!

Sarah Palin’s Facebook Page Remembering 9/11:

We Are Americans It has been eight years since the United States suffered the worst attack on our soil since Pearl Harbor. As we look back, we should take stock of what has transpired since then. We have sent our nation’s soldiers into battlefields far from home to defend us. These brave men and women live in treacherous conditions, facing improvised roadside bombs, suicide bombers and other attacks. Yet they fight on in their mission to defend the United States and all of us without complaint. Our all-volunteer service is made up of Americans of all races, creeds, and economic backgrounds. These soldiers are on the front lines of this battle, and there are others in the fight as well. We must continue to give our utmost support to the United States military and those that support their efforts. In light of this, I have added my name to a letter sent to President Obama urging him to remain committed to prosecuting the War on Terror in Afghanistan. Never have so few defended the liberty of so many. We must continue to support their mission because they will continue to fight for us. President Reagan ended his first inaugural with this story: Under one such marker lies a young man-Martin Treptow-who left his job in a small town barber shop in 1917 to go to France with the famed Rainbow Division. There, on the western front, he was killed trying to carry a message between battalions under heavy artillery fire. We are told that on his body was found a diary. On the flyleaf under the heading, “My Pledge,” he had written these words: “America must win this war. Therefore, I will work, I will save, I will sacrifice, I will endure, I will fight cheerfully and do my utmost, as if the issue of the whole struggle depended on me alone.” The crisis we are facing today does not require of us the kind of sacrifice that Martin Treptow and so many thousands of others were called upon to make. It does require, however, our best effort, and our willingness to believe in ourselves and to believe in our capacity to perform great deeds; to believe that together, with God’s help, we can and will resolve the problems which now confront us. And, after all, why shouldn’t we believe that? We are Americans. God bless you, and thank you. As we look back to that tragic day eight years ago we take pride in the fact that we came together as a nation in the days, months and years that followed. We rose to the challenge that fateful day and we still can. And why shouldn’t we believe that? We are Americans. I thank all our servicemen and women, in and out of uniform, for keeping us safe over the last eight years in the face of enormous odds. Please thank a veteran today. They certainly do not look for those thanks, but they have more than earned it. –

Fla. doctor loses license after botched abortion
By CHRISTINE ARMARIO
Associated Press Writer
The Board of Medicine has revoked the license of a Florida doctor accused of medical malpractice in a botched abortion case in which a live baby was delivered, but ended up dead in a cardboard box.

The board on Friday found Dr. Pierre Jean-Jacque Renelique in violation of Florida statutes by committing medical malpractice, delegating responsibility to unlicensed personnel, and failing to keep an accurate medical record. Renelique and his attorney declined to comment after the hearing.

The Department of Health said Renelique was scheduled to perform an abortion on a teenager who was 23 weeks pregnant in 2006. Sycloria Williams had been given drugs in advance to dilate her cervix.

According to the complaint, she gave birth at a Hialeah clinic after waiting hours for Renelique to arrive. The complaint said one of the clinic owners put the baby in a bag that was thrown away.

Police found the infant’s decomposing remains a week later.

A medical examiner determined the cause of death was extreme prematurity, the complaint states.

At Friday’s hearing, Renelique told the board of his life-long quest to be a doctor. He said there are generations of physicians in his family, and that he decided to follow the same path after seeing his father treat patients.

Renelique described saving a woman’s life during the second year of his medical residency in Haiti. He later left his home country to work and train in the United States. It was never his intention to do abortions, he said.

“That was not part of my goals when I came to Florida,” he said. “But I had to do it to survive.”

During the board’s questioning, Dr. Elizabeth D. Tucker, an obstetrician-gynecologist from Pensacola, asked Renelique about three different types of medical forceps. Renelique replied that he possessed each of the instruments.

After each question, Tucker also held up a metal instrument, different from the one she had named and inquired about. One of the tools was a metal rod with an arrow attached at the tip.

Tucker asked Renelique if he had that. He replied that he did.

“For the record, these are from my antique collection,” she said later. “We don’t use these in terminations.”

Renelique’s attorney, Joseph Harrison, later requested that his client view the instruments more closely, which the board allowed. Renelique said he had never seen or used the spear in his life.

Renelique said he had advised the patient to come in early as a precaution, and that when he was en route to the clinic, he was called to tend to another patient having an emergency.

He said the clinic staff members didn’t tell him about the delivery when he arrived.

Harrison said Renelique expected the board to uphold the current restriction on his license, which prohibits him from performing abortions unless another physician is present. The Department of Health recommended that his license be suspended. But the board decided to revoke it instead which means he will not be able to practice medicine in Florida.

No criminal charges have been filed in the case, but the state attorney’s office is investigating.

Obama is closing down Guantamo . I SINCERELY HOPE THAT HE PLACED ALL THOSE TERRORIST NEXT DOOR TO HIS HOUSE AND SERVE THEM TEA. I am so concerned with their release and their effects on innocent people.

Another thing is abortion.. Enough that he is doing it in his own country, he needs to control the world too…..

Obama Abortion Agenda Launched Today
With Order Promoting Abortion in
U.S. Population-Control Program

WASHINGTON (January 23, 2009) — President Obama today signs an order that will put hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars into the hands of organizations that aggressively promote abortion as a population-control tool in the developing world.

Obama’s order overturns the “Mexico City Policy,” under which funds in the U.S. “population assistance” program go only to overseas organizations that pledge not to “perform or actively promote abortion as a method of family planning.”

Douglas Johnson, legislative director for the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC), commented, “This is the first in an anticipated series of attacks on longstanding pro-life policies, as the new administration pushes Obama’s sweeping abortion agenda. That agenda includes repeal of the Hyde Amendment, which would result in tax-funded abortion as a birth control method in the U.S., and imposition of sweeping pro-abortion mandates on private employers through health-care reform legislation.

“One effect of Obama’s order will be to divert many millions of dollars away from groups that do not promote abortion, and into the hands of those organizations that are the most aggressive in promoting abortion in developing countries. President Obama not long ago told the American people that he would support policies to reduce abortions, but today he is effectively guaranteeing more abortions by funding groups that promote abortion as a method of population control.”

Contrary to some misunderstandings, enforcement of the Mexico City Policy did not reduce the amount of money spent on the program, nor will Obama’s order increase the amount (which is $461 million in the current fiscal year). Rather, the policy affects what type of groups qualify for grants under the program. “Obama’s order will predictably result in a redirection of funds to groups such as the International Planned Parenthood Federation, which are ideologically committed to the doctrine that abortion on demand must be universally available as a birth control method,” Johnson said.

Although Obama’s order will result in major subsidies for organizations that promote abortion overseas, the direct use of the U.S. funds to perform abortion procedures will remain unlawful under the Helms Amendment to the Foreign Assistance Act. “The Helms Amendment can be changed only by an act of Congress, but because the Obama Administration is joined at the hip with the abortion lobby, we will be watching carefully for any evidence that the Administration is failing to enforce the Helms Amendment,” Johnson said.

The details of the Mexico City Policy are spelled out in an official handbook issued by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which is available on request from NRLC (in PDF format). Basically, the policy required grantees to refrain from performing abortions (except to save the life of the mother, or in cases of rape or incest), or lobbying to legalize abortion, or otherwise promoting abortion as a family-planning method. The policy explicitly allowed responding to questions about where abortions may be obtained, in countries in which abortions are legal.

The National Right to Life Committee is the nation’s largest pro-life group with affiliates in all 50 states and over 3,000 local chapters nationwide. National Right to Life works through legislation and education to protect those threatened by abortion, infanticide, euthanasia and assisted suicide.

"Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell"? Don’t Change
By Floyd and Mary Beth Brown
As Barack Obama prepares to be sworn in as commander in chief on January 20, homosexual-rights activists are gleeful about changes he will bring to the armed services. Based on his campaign promises, Obama is expected to overturn the military’s policy regarding sexual conduct. Commonly referred to as “don’t ask, don’t tell” the military prohibits the service of openly practicing homosexuals. This policy was created early in the Clinton administration after a long and divisive fight and the hard-fought compromise has drawn the ire of liberals such as Obama ever since.
“It’s time to turn the page on the bitterness and bigotry that fill so much of today’s LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) rights debate,” Obama said while campaigning. “The rights of all Americans should be protected — whether it’s at work or anyplace else. ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ needs to be repealed because patriotism and a sense of duty should be the key tests for military service, not sexual orientation."
Not reported in the media or discussed by advocates are the opinions of the men and women actually serving our country that would be affected by this change in policy. A poll of some 2,000 active duty military taken in December by the Military Times found that 58 percent opposed a policy change. Of those polled, 10 percent said they would not reenlist, and 14 percent reported they would consider not reenlisting if the policy is changed to please homosexual activists.
Essentially, the United States military, the greatest fighting force ever assembled, has had a policy in place against homosexual conduct since its formation. This policy annoys certain liberals who want to force their social agenda on the rest of the country and ignore those affected.
Bill Clinton tried in the 1990s to end the prohibition of homosexual activity in the armed forces, but his attempt to do so was heavily criticized by members of both parties. The opposition was led by Sam Nunn, a Democrat from Georgia. After much haranguing, a compromise was reached that stated “…the prohibition against homosexual conduct is a long-standing element of military law that continues to be necessary in the unique circumstances of military service.”
Barring a pre-enlistment question about homosexuality "was the only compromise Congress let Clinton get away with," says Elaine Donnelly, president of the non-profit Center for Military Readiness which supports continuing the ban. "The law respects the power of sexuality and the normal human desire for modesty in sexual matters." There have been on-and-off efforts to repeal this law over the last few years, but those are expected to intensify with Obama’s support.
While Obama is clearly in favor of repealing this law, the question becomes, when will he push for it? Some pundits believe that Obama will act quickly because he is eager to appease the gay leaders after he upset many homosexuals by selecting Rick Warren, a staunch supporter of traditional marriage, to give the invocation at his inauguration. Obama also appears to be tapping Bill White, a gay man, to be his Navy secretary, which will certainly bring the policy regarding sexual conduct to the forefront.
As Obama weighs his options, a reason for him to pause is a Wall Street Journal survey. It found that the top issue motivating people to vote Republican, which returned control of Congress to the GOP in 1994, was Clinton’s attempt to lift the military ban on homosexuality. There is certainly no public mandate for this social change.
If Barack Obama stays true to his campaign promises, the armed forces will likely lose hundreds of thousands of troops. When our troop numbers are already stretched thin, we don’t need radical policies driving away more. Nevertheless, Obama appears poised to stubbornly buck centuries of military tradition by going against the will of the American people, as well as those in the military who will be affected by this change.

This is too darn true to even be considered funny.

Wow. I did not realize all of this stuff. It gets you thinking, that’s for sure!

The Tax Poem

At first I thought this was funny…then I realized the
awful truth of it.
Be sure to read all the way to the end.

Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table
At which he’s fed.

Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes
Are the rule.

Tax his work,
Tax his pay,
He works for peanuts
Anyway!

Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.
Tax his ties,
Tax his shirt,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.

Tax his cigars,
Tax his beers,
If he cries
Tax his tears.

Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass.

Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won’t be done
Till he has no dough.

When he screams and hollers;
Then tax him some more,
Tax him till
He’s good and sore.

Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he’s laid.

Put these words
Upon his tomb,
‘Taxes drove me
to my doom…’

When he’s gone,
Do not relax,
Its time to apply y
