With all this BS going on, maybe Americans will wake up and realize that having her as VP, if not POTUS, would have been the right way to go last November. Sarah Palin is still a very smart woman in my eyes, and I hope she is successful in whatever pursuit she chooses, especially if she is looking to get back into politics…

I agree with most of what you said. I don’t think your giving Obama enough credit for trying to “bridge the gap”. No doubt the two sides are far apart on a few key issues but he addressed some issues that are similar to republican plans.
But what worries me, like you, is that last night he down played the public option almost ashamed of it knowing this is the heart of the plan for the left.

Wasn’t it funny the back handed attempt at bringing the right to the table by tort reform?

Overall, I don’t think he did much to advance the discussion and then he put the speech on repeat this morning front of some nurses. I would have like to see him show more leadership by trashing the house bill and showing how exactly he will pay for it.
